Work Programme 1 : Novel HX Design

Introduction

An dbjective of this work package is to design an ultra efficient compact heat exchanger with novel concepts to satisfy environmental issues and higher energy efficiency, especially for transportation and energy industries. In order to achieve this goal, we will develop a design program to analysis and to predict performance of the heat exchanger. The overall performance evaluation should include thermal performance, mechanical integrity, manufacturing costs as well as system pressure drop. These trade-off studies and design optimization will be performed in this work package also.
